Jacob is the one who came down with a stomach bug this past week. Granny Gran called me on Wednesday night (actually Thursday morning) and told me that Jacob had just thrown up. Hoping this was just a one-time deal, I told her to call me if he threw up again. I hadn't even gotten in to bed yet when she called that he threw up again. So there I go to his house -- long story short, he threw up like 14 times from midnight to 6am. I took him in to the emergency room at around 3:30 am (Diane met me there -- she had to come from work); Granny Gran had given him two suppositories but those didn't work. The doctors had to give him an anti-nauseous pill and we thought it had worked but once we were in the potty, he threw up again.
At least he didn't get dehydrated like he has in the past -- out of all three kids, he is the one who gets dehydrated the quickest and the worst. He's finally back to his old self (can't keep his hands off Caleb and always tatteling on Sydni) -- thank goodness.
