big kids rooms.....

Late last year I re-did the kids rooms for them (part of a Christmas present for them). Aunt Tina and Granny Gran helped me paint the rooms. Caleb and Jacob's room had been pastel colored so we were eager to paint it to their liking. Red and blue are their colors so we used both of those for the boys. Power Rangers are it for the boys so I painted these images on the wall for them. They love it.
Sydni is all about princesses. Her room is all pink (and a bit purple) and I painted the Disney Princesses on a wall for her -- her room still needs a bit more to be complete; she is waiting for me to paint a castle on the wall.
Last month I added a chalkboard section to the inside of their closet doors. Those are very cute and useful. Caleb and Jacob have a race car theme (they are ready to have their room redone in the Hot Wheels theme but I told them they would have those Power Rangers on the walls until they turned 18). Sydni has a garden theme on the wall (I had intended to just do a rectangle and be done with it but I dripped some paint on the door and had to "cover" it up.)
