Great Wolf Lodge

Diane and I took the kids to Great Wolf Lodge for a little vacation at the end of June/early July.  Last year was our first time at GWL and we absolutely loved it.  This is such a great place to bring the family -- although it can get a bit overwhelming with everything they have to do.  This year we stayed in one of the cabin suites which had bunk beds and a day bed and man did the kids love this.

The first day we unpacked and rested and then the kids wanted to play the MagiQuest game again so we went to the store to reactivate their wands and, of course, they found some things they wanted to buy.  That night we went to dinner at one of the restaurants on site to celebrate Diane's birthday.  It was a pretty good meal.

Last year they didn't do the storytelling at bedtime so we went to that our first night.  The kids are a little old for that so it wasn't on their top thing to do.

The next day was spent in the waterpark the entire morning and early afternoon.  Caleb ended up getting a nasty cut on his toe from the lazy river so we had to cut the day short.  Then he took a 3hr nap while Jacob and Sydni went and played MagiQuest.  That night we went to dinner at another restaurant on site because it was Thanksgiving Thursday! Then more MagiQuest and arcade games.

Friday morning Sydni had her spa activities where she got a chocolate facial and a manicure.  The Scoops spa is a really cute thing for the young girls to do.  The boys played in the arcade most of the morning.  They also all made craft items at the Cub Club.

All in all, it was another great trip to Great Wolf Lodge and we will definitely do it again soon.
