Splinter boy

Caleb came home from a Boy Scout meeting with a splinter that he got from a playscape they were working on. Although I hate to call it a splinter because it was so big it looked like a huge chunk of wood got in his hand.

He makes me take out any splinters while he is sleeping so he won't feel anything. Only this one was so big and so deep that he kept waking up while I was trying to take it out.

Diane and I both tried the next morning and it probably took me an hour to finally get it out.

I told Caleb that one deserved to be flushed down the commode and gave him the honors.
